BOORII
is an improvisational duo from Vienna, Austria, featuring members of NEONSTREAM and the Soft Power Ensemble of Vienna.

Guitar, drums, keys, voice, fx and a lot of sequencing. Ambient spheres dissolving in extra-terrestrial noise scapes. Repetitive drum patterns interleaving hypnotic melody-structures, drifting apart, on the brink of tranquillity.

Hey you guys.
I know i’ts been quite a while - and I’m sure you did quite well without me - and I’d like to show you guys a project that I (unintentionally) started with the photos back the OM concert and since have (at least I like to believe so) brought to a new level.

I call it "δύναμις" (dynamis; greek).
Its meaning:
"inherent power, power residing in a thing by virtue of its nature, or which a person or thing exerts and puts forth."

So what am I thinking of when naming a project like this?
When I am at a concert, i am most likely to enjoy the show, when there is an energy being “exchanged” between the audience and the artist/band.
It can only be a good concert, if there is some sort of energy floating.

Now what I am trying to do is to capture the energy that is emitted by the musician/transported by the music with the camera - which at the same time reflects my feelings, my perception at this very moment.
It is, so to say, the expression of the impression, since the result always implies my subjective sensation.
Let me know what you think about it!
